Bartrums invest in a MAHA brake roller test facility
As of June 2026, we’re delighted to share that we now have a MAHA UK rising roller brake tester and also the very latest MAHA kit for headlight testing.
Perhaps half or maybe more than half of the UKs officially accredited roller brake stations use MAHA equipment so it seemed sensible to consider their kit along with two others we looked at. MAHA wasn’t the cheapest option we had available but our priority was compliance and trying achieve the very highest possible outcomes at test. The kit we purchased is their ‘rising roller’ and overall it can accommodate up to 20tonnes of axle weight – with the rollers able to generate 10tonnes of ‘upward force’ as part of that overall 20t equation. We’re told our new tester is easy to use and our workshop staff already have a very positive opinion on this latest piece of investment.
Our workshops trade under the Trumbar banner and are very much open to external customers. Aside from looking after the Bartrum fleet, TRUMBAR TRUCK CARE LIMITED work for some of our industry colleagues and we also work for some Bartrum customers who happen to also operate commercial vehicles. If you operate commercial vehicles – from 3.5t van upwards and have proximity to Eye – why not get in touch.
